Our organization is positioned to become the leading film forum in Miami, serving as a bridge to filmmakers from Latin America, Spain, and Portugal to global audiences. Powerful stories drive audience engagement, educate communities, inspire individual and collective action for good. Stories can facilitate social justice when told artfully. With access to mobile video recording devices and the growing demand for content on streaming services, aspiring and professional filmmakers can come together to participate in this growing market. Our two-year program will enable Latinx storytellers to tell their own stories with their voices, the ones rarely heard. Our Creative Director, Famor Botero, is a testament to our scalability. He was introduced to us through his showcased work at one of our festivals.
